Wenonah Elementary School hosted its annual “Souper” Bowl the week leading up to the big game. Students voted for their favorite team to win the Super Bowl by placing donated cans of soup or nonperishable items in their team’s collection box during physical education classes.

Fith grade students Mackenzie Aichinger and Cooper DeMato helped to organize the donation drive and counted the donations each day. They also kept a running scoreboard in the school lobby. Wenonah raised a total of 274 food items to be donated to the food pantry at Sachem High School North!
