In preparation for the 20th anniversary of Sept. 11, Sachem High School North has recently begun a project to refurbish the existing memorial at the school building.

The refurbishing project, which will take place during the summer months, will include the replacement of the current towers with new ones and the addition of a new patio area, lighting upgrades and plantings. The new towers which will be added to the memorial were a donation from Continental Marble and Tile of Ronkonkoma. We are extremely excited about the improvements being made and look forward to a rededication ceremony that will be held at the end of the summer.
