Last month, art students across Sachem High School North shared inspiring messages with students and staff as part of a comprehensive project that colorfully covered the sidewalks in front of the school building.

As part of the schoolwide initiative which was facilitated by the art department, the students’ creative chalk drawings shared inspiring quotes, images and affirmations, inspired by growth mindset, to motivate the school community.

Students studied chalk artists whose styles span from Japanese anime to botanical drawings inspired by South America, planned their designs and then brought their unique artwork to life right outside of the Main Entrance.
