Welcome to Sagamore Middle School Library
"A Library is not a luxury, but one of the necessities of life." - Henry Ward Beecher
"The answers are all on the Internet. What's not on the Internet are the questions." - Unknown
"If you don’t like to read, you haven’t found the right book." ― J.K. Rowling
Thank you to everyone who returned a library book during locker cleanout!! If you find any books at home over the summer, you can still drop them off in the office over the summer.
I want you all to know that if you have signed out a library book or two or maybe a Playaway from before we were closed, that I have extended all of the due dates. Check out the information at the bottom about Learning.com. Every student has an account and it is great way to learn keyboarding skills! In the meantime, if you have any questions or want to say hello, please e-mail me at: email@example.com
Hope to see you soon!
Borrowing e-books while school is closed.
You can still read and borrow e-books from the Sagamore Library. We have e-books from our two book sellers, Follett and Mackin. The directions are different for each seller. Both are found on the left side under Sagamore Online.
Click Follett-books, then scroll to bottom to e-book collection, and select See All.
Scroll through the titles. Click on a title. Log in with your Sachem school ID.
Select either Open (read online) or Checkout (download). To download, click Checkout and Open.
In Menu on top left, click Offline Access and wait for download to finish.
When you are finished reading, don't forget to return the book.
Click Mackin VIA e-books, and sign in with your school name and then use your VRC password.
(If you forget your VRC info, email Mrs. Bucher at firstname.lastname@example.org )
Browse through the different and click the green OPEN button. These can only be read online,
not able to be downloaded at this time.)
