This Food Pyramid will give you some guidelines as to how much of which types of foods you should eat. Please click on each colored triangle for a brief description.

For the foods on top, candies and sweets, your body needs very little. Down towards the bottom of the pyramid, you can see that you need quite a bit of carbohydrates (starches) to make your body run properly. You will also see that you need a whole lot more fruit and vegetables than proteins (meats) and dairy products like cheese and ice cream if you want to have a healty diet.
