A week filled with pageantry, spirit and pride was underscored by victory for Sachem North during 2019 homecoming festivities.
Students and staff enjoyed a homecoming dance, carnival and parade around the track leading up to the football game on Saturday afternoon.
On the gridiron, Sachem beat Bay Shore 12-8. The Flaming Arrows went 98 yards after stopping Bay Shore on the 2-yard line with 7:49 left in the game.
The game-winning drive was spurred along thanks to two clutch catches by Dylan Reilly, who totaled 62 receiving yards. Quarterback Sam Walker threw a 15-yard pass to his brother Josh Walker with 2:24 left in the game to put Sachem ahead for good.
