One hundred was the magic number for students during a collection of activities in Nicole Stumpf and Bianca Ferrantelli’s kindergarten class as part of a 100th day of school celebration.
Throughout the day’s celebration, students participated in several math, science and hands-on STEM activities including the number 100. Rotating between separate stations, student groups built structures from 100 Legos, colored 100 gumballs in a gumball machine, stacked 100 cups as high as they could and counted by 10 to 100 to organize a group of puzzle pieces.
The activities commemorating the 100th day of school encouraged students to use teamwork, be creative and problem-solve to complete each task.
