Waverly Students Share Messages of Peace and Togetherness

Students across grade levels at Waverly Elementary School recently participated in a special school tradition that promotes peace throughout their school community and beyond.

As part of the yearly tradition, students wrote pledges on how they can make Waverly Elementary a better place. They then walked outside the school to plant daisy bulbs that will bloom into beautiful flowers in the spring, reminding each student of their promises to promote peace.

Additionally, students wrote ways to be kind to one another and created a peace quilt with an assortment of individual squares that will be displayed on the cafeteria windows.
