At the most recent meeting of the Sachem Central School District Board of Education, the Board recognized an outstanding group of fall sports athletes and athletic teams for their tremendous accomplishments during their seasons. 

To begin the recognitions, Director of Health and Physical Education, Health Services and Athletics Gary Beutel honored the Sachem High School East girls field hockey team for winning the Suffolk County and Long Island championships. Next, the Sachem High School North boys volleyball team was honored for completing their season undefeated, winning the Suffolk County and Long Island championships and being New York State finalists. 

Concluding the recognitions, individual athletes were honored for their accolades that included All-Academic, All-County, All-Long Island and All-State selections.
