Patience and problem-solving were key components of a recent lesson at Grundy Avenue Elementary School as fifth grade students explored Sphero, a programmable educational robot. 

As part of the introductory lesson led by library media specialist Melissa Lawler, students learned to navigate the controls of the device as they worked collaboratively to guide their group’s robot. Concluding the activity, students participated in races showcasing their new skills.
