Merrimac Elementary School held a special thank you event to honor building nurse, Mrs. Conner, who is retiring at the end of the school year. Kindergarten teacher Kristen Aue came up with the idea to invite the Merrimac community to send their child to school with a flower, whether it was real, fake, or drawn, to give to Mrs. Conner on School Nurse Day, which is celebrated on May 8. The outpouring of love for Mrs. Conner was incredible and Merrimac thanks her for her years of service!
