Sachem East High School had a strong showing at this year’s Long Island Teeny Awards, celebrating excellence in high school theater across the region. With seven nominations in various categories, the school’s talented performers were well-represented both on stage and on the red carpet.

Nominations included:

* Best Ensemble:
* Leading Male: Robert De Persio, Ryan Pacella, Tristan Prin.
* Leading Female: Isabella Serrado.
* Supporting Female: Addison Washylyshyn.
* Featured Male: Timothy Kelsch.

The night was highlighted by a big win – Tristan Prin took home Leading Actor in a Musical for his powerful portrayal of Val Jean in “Les Misérables.” In addition, Ryan Pacella, another standout senior, was honored with a scholarship award.
