Sachem High School North student Jacob Flores Zeranski has advanced to finalist standing in the National Merit Scholarship Program. Jacob is among the 15,000 finalists who received a Certificate of Merit attesting to his recognition in the program.

Jacob previously earned a semifinalist designation after his exceptionally high achievement on the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT). Around half of all finalists will be selected as National Merit Scholarship winners based on their abilities, skills and accomplishments.
