Sachem High School North celebrated Black History Month with a culminating event featuring artwork, poetry, a gallery walk and musical performances. Students attended the event during their social studies classes where their peers showcased their talents and creativity while highlighting Black individuals who have influenced American history.

The event was organized by the High School North National History Honor Society and focused on “Celebrating Black History Through the Decades.” Projects and performances by students and the Arrowettes recognized the remarkable contributions and achievements of the Black community across different decades.
