Third graders at Merrimac Elementary School kicked off the building’s Kindness Month by collaborating with students from Ms. Borak’s class at Sachem High School North. The North students created handmade notecards and delivered them to Merrimac Elementary School on Feb. 2. They worked together with the third graders to decorate the notecards and fill them with messages of love, kindness and positivity. The third graders then identified and delivered the kindness-grams to staff members in the school.

The collaborative activity brought together the Sachem school community while kicking off activities ahead of P.S. I Love You Day on Feb. 9.
