Fourth graders at Hiawatha Elementary School took a trip back in time to the Colonial era. Students dressed up as children would during the time period and participated in traditional games and activities. In the classroom, they used ink and quills to write and slates to practice math. The day immersed students in the time period and taught them all about life in the Colonies.
