Tamarac Elementary School students enjoyed “record-breaking reader” activities in the library as part of the building’s PARP celebrations. Staff developer Norma LaFata and librarian Lori Capozzi had students work on different reading-themed breakout activities focused on several physical and digital puzzles.

Students collaborated to analyze, evaluate and interpret different clues to solve the puzzles. Younger graders participated in picture book and author scavenger hunts. Tamarac’s PARP committee provided prizes to students for cracking codes and solving the puzzles. The fun-filled activities got students excited about reading!
