Sachem High School East students recently attended a field trip to the Heckscher Museum of Art in Huntington with art teacher Katrina Wrigley.

Following the trip, students had the opportunity to enter into a juried competition with the possibility of having their artwork exhibited in the museum fora month. High School East student Samantha Christian was accepted for the second year in a row to feature her art in the exhibit, and the museum also printed her piece from last year’s competition this year’s invitations.
