Merrimac Elementary School students have recently been participating in their annual Pick a Reading Partner initiative to encourage reading and a love for literature.

As part of the annual initiative, students have been participating in several activities to build enthusiasm around reading. Among some of the themed spirit days were Book Character Day, Pajama Day and Reading Jogs the Mind.
