Sachem High School East students in Mr. Anson’s Practical Application of Math class recently utilized Spheros to design and build Battlebots to compete in the school library.

The students created their designs and used the Spheros, which are programmable spherical robots, to power their robots. After several trial runs and frequent troubleshooting, the students then competed in the inaugural Battlebot Tournament hosted in the library where the groups competed until only one group remained and was named the winner of the competition.
