Creativity flourished in Kristin Weston’s first grade class at Waverly Avenue Elementary School as students participated in an activity to create personal narratives as part of writers workshop.
Through their work on the assignment students learned the importance of sequencing and selecting words to designate when things took place in their story to establish a beginning, middle and an end. To accompany their stories students drew colorful illustrations to complete their creative literary works.
