Future leaders filled the cafetorium at Merrimac Elementary School as students in third, fourth and fifth grades gathered for an inspiring leadership assembly introducing schoolwide leadership roles and habits for success. 

As part of the assembly, students listened to projects led by students in years prior that made a difference in the community and learned how they can participate in similar projects this school year. Additionally, students learned about the importance of being a role model in their school building and reviewed schoolwide leadership roles, such as morning greeters.
