The Sachem Central School District community came together on Nov. 18 for a districtwide celebration of unity. The second annual “CommUNITY” Fair featured cultural music and dance performances along with food tastings. Several members of the school community participated including student leaders from various clubs, dance teams, the robotics team and even outside organizations such as Canine Companions.

The CommUNITY Fair was an opportunity for all Sachem families to come together to celebrate what unites everyone, while also recognizing differences. The event supported the district’s Culture of Care – showing that all students, staff and families are welcomed and cared for in Sachem schools.
