Students from both Sachem High Schools learned about history, architecture and culture in Austria, Switzerland and Germany over spring break. Teachers Dawn DelSeni and Erin Gearns led students on this incredible educational tour.

While in Austria, travelers toured Vienna and Salzburg, visited Schönbrunn Palace and even learned how to dance the Viennese Waltz.

In Germany, students visited Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial Site, toured Munich and, while in the Bavaria region, were able to visit two of King Ludwig’s castles including the famous Neuschwanstein Castle.

In Switzerland travelers enjoyed a decedent Swiss chocolate tasting, went on an adventure that took them across the picturesque Lake Lucerne and up into the Swiss Alps, all the way to the top of Mt. Rigi.

It was a wonderful week filled with new experiences, friendships and memories that will last a lifetime!
