The fourth and fifth grade choruses at Nokomis Elementary School performed for the community at the annual Raynor Park Tree Lighting in Ronkonkoma. The fourth graders performed “Hannukkah Lights” and “Holiday Lights” with flashlight choreography whereas the fifth graders sang “Carol of the Elves,” “Cooroo, Cooroo,” “A Very Merry Christmas” and “Light” using percussion instruments.

The chorus students were recognized by the Ronkonkoma Chamber of Commerce for their dedication and passion to entertaining the community. Families enjoyed hot chocolate and watching Santa Claus be escorted to the event by fourteen horses and the Ronkonkoma Fire Department.
