Sachem High School North students in Amanda Foran, Lauren Gonzalez, Renee Parisi and Victoria Provini’s art classes went on a field trip to The Heckscher Museum of Art to view work from the Long Island Biennial. This exhibition features work from 57 contemporary artists from across Nassau and Suffolk counties created in the last two years.

Students were given a tour from museum docents and given the opportunity to respond to a piece with their own artwork as part of the Long Island’s Best competition that takes place in March.
