Wenonah Elementary School students who completed their summer reading logs on time were celebrated by their principal during “Donuts with Desmond.” Dr. Desmond invited these students to a party at the end of the school day on Sept. 23 in Wenonah’s cafeteria.

Students were all given donuts and even had the opportunity to participate in a donut-eating contest, where they were challenged with eating a donut hanging from a string. In honor of completing their summer reading projects, they were able to take home books and were given spirit banners to wave proudly. Thank you to the Wenonah PTA for sponsoring this event!
