Sachem High School East junior Adriana Ancilleri recently completed her Girl Scout Gold Award project, which added the “Healthy Hearts for Happy Kids” trail to the Town of Brookhaven’s Holtsville Wildlife and Ecology Center fitness track.

Following over a year of planning, the trail was completed and adds a collection of eight healthy activities for children to participate in along the walking trail to promote fitness and social and emotional health.
