Sachem North Brings Homecoming Spirit to Elementary Schools
In advance of this weekend’s Homecoming game and festivities, Sachem North football players, cheerleaders, and Arrowettes took their school pride on the road, visiting several of the district’s elementary feeder schools for a special Homecoming walk-through.
As the Sachem fight song played through the loudspeakers, students lined the hallways waving, cheering “Let’s go Sachem!” and giving high-fives to the high school athletes and performers. The energy and excitement filled every corner of the buildings, creating an unforgettable experience for both the younger students and the visiting seniors.
Fifth graders were treated to an exceptional performance featuring the cheerleaders and Arrowettes, followed by brief remarks from senior football captains who encouraged students always to work hard, show spirit, and be proud to be part of the Sachem community.
The event showcased the strong connection between Sachem’s schools and the shared sense of pride that defines the district and community.
We can’t wait to see everyone on Saturday for Homecoming—come out and cheer on our Sachem Arrows!

Memories Unlocked: Sachem Hosts 2025 Kindergarten-Senior Walk
The 2025 Sachem Kindergarten–Senior Walk was pure magic ... a heartfelt connection between our newest learners and our graduating seniors.
This newer tradition captures the symbolic passing of the torch, as seniors (Class of '26) high-five, hug, and inspire the next generation of Sachem students (Class of '38).
Many parents and staff gathered on Tuesday morning to witness this special “changing of the guard.”
Each elementary school hosted its respective feeder seniors from Sachem East and Sachem North, celebrating the full circle of a Sachem education. It’s a moment filled with pride, emotion, and community spirit that reminds us what makes Sachem so special.

Sachem Alumni, Student-Athletes Compete at the Next Level
Just a couple of Sachem North Alumni competing at the next level! Dylan Friel and Ryan Durkin bumped into each other while running at a Division II XC Meet at Roberts Wesleyan.
We love seeing our alumni chasing big goals, and when the stars align for them to compete against one another, it makes for a very special moment.
Did you know? At any given moment during the academic year, more than 200 Sachem alumni are competing in college sports. This is regularly one of the highest numbers of college athletes of any school district in New York.
When we say “We Are Sachem,” this is just another example of our students taking advantage of opportunity and reaching the next level. Onwards! 🚀
