Universal Pre-Kindergarten Information

Sachem Central School District offers a lottery for Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) for children whose birthdate is between December 2, 2021, and December 1, 2022, and are first eligible for kindergarten during the 2027-2028 school year. The lottery window is currently closed, but the following and linked information is provided for assistance to those chosen in the lottery, or with interest in future years.
The UPK calendar will follow Sachem’s school calendar; therefore, offering the program for 180 days. Transportation is not be provided.
