A community art-sharing project at Sachem High School East invites people to connect through a simple idea: take art, make art, love art.Created by art teacher Katrina Wrigley, the Little Free Art Gallery draws inspiration from the Little Free Library concept.
Instead of exchanging books, participants share original artwork, creating an opportunity for creativity to circulate throughout the community.
Sachem East’s National Art Honor Society students will manage the gallery, taking an active role in a project designed to make art accessible to everyone and encourage people to create and share their work.
The initiative celebrates art as a shared experience, bringing people together through the joy of making, discovering and exchanging original creations.
