The Sachem Marching Band earned first place in the Large School 2 (LS2) division at its home show on Sunday, October 18, posting a score of 84.150 and finishing ahead of two other competing bands.

The victory puts Sachem in second place in the statewide LS2 standings, just 0.450 points behind the division leader.

Beyond the competition, the home show recognized the band’s senior members for their contributions to the program.

The celebration honored the dedication and leadership of students whose commitment has helped shape the Sachem Marching Band.

With a home-show victory and a narrow gap separating Sachem from the top of the state standings, the band has plenty for its school community to celebrate.
