Paul Sapienza Sworn In as Sachem's Newest Board of Education Trustee

The Sachem Central School District officially welcomed its newest Board of Education trustee as Paul Sapienza was sworn into office during the district's annual Board of Education Reorganizational Meeting.

Mr. Sapienza took the oath of office alongside incumbent trustees Robert Scavo and Matthew Baumann, who were also sworn in after earning re-election during the district's successful 2026-27 budget vote and Board of Education election in May. 

The three trustees, along with six other incumbent community leaders, will continue working together to help guide the district's vision, support student success and represent the Sachem community.

Mr. Sapienza previously served as the chair of the district's Legislative Committee. 

The Sachem Central School District congratulates Mr. Sapienza on taking the oath of office and extends its appreciation to Mr. Scavo, Mr. Baumann and all of our board members for their continued service and leadership.
