Congratulations to Merrimac Elementary School student Casie Callaci, who earned first place in Suffolk County’s Bicycle Safety Poster Contest, competing against students from all 18 legislative districts. 

Casie was recently recognized by the Suffolk County Legislature for her outstanding achievement.

The honor was shared by the office of Legislator Anthony Piccirillo, a proud Sachem alum and Hall of Honor inductee.

A tremendous accomplishment and a great example of creativity and community awareness. 🚲
