Sachem North’s Valdey Pierre has etched his name into program history, earning his 100th career victory and becoming the first heavyweight wrestler in Sachem North history to reach the milestone.

Pierre secured the historic win in the early rounds of the New York State Wrestling Championships in Albany, doing it on the sport’s biggest stage against the best competition in the state.

And he’s not done yet. As of Friday afternoon, Valdey is still battling and advancing in the tournament, representing Sachem North with strength, grit, and pride.
