Sachem High School East is proud to recognize 80 students who earned prestigious honors through the College Board’s Advanced Placement (AP) Scholar Program, reflecting exceptional academic commitment and mastery of college-level coursework.

This year’s group includes 52 students who earned the AP Capstone Diploma - one of the highest academic distinctions offered by the College Board. These students completed both AP Seminar and AP Research and earned qualifying scores on at least four additional AP exams. Their work demonstrates advanced skill in inquiry, research, critical thinking, and academic writing.

In addition, 28 students earned the AP Seminar and Research Certificate, signifying successful completion of the two-year AP Capstone sequence. These students excelled in evidence-based writing, scholarly investigation, and presenting research in a college-level format.

School officials praised the collective achievement as a powerful reflection of Sachem’s academic excellence.
