Elementary schools across Sachem celebrated International Dot Day on Sept. 15. The day is based on the book, “The Dot” by Peter H. Reynolds and is a community celebration of art and creativity. It encourages students to “make their mark” and see where it takes them. Many classrooms across Sachem read the book before participating in art projects. The activities celebrated self-expression, innovation and inspired learning.
