The Sachem Arrows Marching Band kicked off its 2025 competitive season on Sunday, Sept. 14, with a strong showing at the Brentwood Invitational, tying for second place in its class. 

Performing its new production, Raiders of the Ancient Scepter, the ensemble delivered a confident season debut and posted one of the day’s top scores.

Students, staff, and volunteers credited the result to steady preseason rehearsals and cohesive performances across the winds, percussion, and color guard. Beyond the scoreboard, the day offered valuable early-season momentum and a positive experience for the full band community.

Sachem returns to the field next weekend at the Copiague Meet as the group continues refining its show for the fall schedule. Congratulations to all performers and supporters on a great start!
