ENL teacher Ms. Schlesier and library media specialist Ms. Creedon at Seneca Middle School collaborated with the Sachem Public Library to support English language learners. Students had the opportunity to register for their own personal library cards. Additionally, public librarian Ms. Furnari introduced students to the various online learning platforms available to support them. This technology is accessible to students both in and out of the classroom and can be used in tandem with current classroom strategies. Seneca Middle School is excited to continue this partnership!
