The Sachem High School East theater department hosted its second Broadway workshop with actor Clay Rice-Thomson. Rice-Thomson is currently starring in “Moulin Rouge” and has been in other productions including “Newsies,” “King Kong,” and “Matilda” on Broadway. Additionally, he performed in “West Side Story” on a national tour as A-Rab, which is the musical High School East students will be performing this spring.

Rice-Thomson worked with students on one of Broadway choreographed dance numbers for “West Side Story.” Additionally, he taught a dance routine for the upcoming production at East. Students then had time for a question-and-answer session with Rice-Thomson. It was a valuable experience for students to interact with and learn from a professional.
