Noble L. created this project in third grade. It is a corrugated cardboard collage of Long Island Lighthouses. |

"Design By Nine." Alexis P. created this design last year, using marker. She created one abstract frame, taking into account color, shape and line and then duplicated it nine times. |

This still life piece was created by Josh W. when he was in third grade. The technique used is called “Cracked Wax Effect.” He drew his design and colored it completely in a heavy crayon layer (the wax). Then he crumpled it up to crack the wax, flattened it out and put a layer of tempera paint over it; which was rinsed off, then dried and finally ironed. Voila, a masterpiece! |
