Circulation Policy

Books are circulated for a period of one week. When a book is returned, a student may select a new one. If books are not returned, students may save a book, and then take it home, once the old book is returned.

Books that are lost must be paid for in cash according to District policy, or replaced, in kind, with a hardcover book. Paperback books may not replace hardcover books.

Replacement hardcover books may be purchased online at Amazon or locally at Barnes and Noble.

Books that are damaged beyond repair must be paid for, or replaced, as per District policy. This includes badly torn pages, water or food damage, coloring or marking, mold, and damage to the spine or cover by pets. The librarian will determine if a book is able to be repaired, or must be replaced.
