Cosmetology Program
Sachem North's Cosmetology Website. Junior and Seniors at North are enjoying their new state of the art classroom as they prepare for their State Licensing Test.
Students are preparing in both theory and practical cosmetology coursework including, hair analysis, color design, cutting, shaping, chemical restructuring, nail care, skin care and much more. Every Friday their classroom turns into Salon Clinic Day where they provide services to faculty, family members, and community members.
This is a great career opportunity for our students, who will graduate high school with a license to work in salon across the state of New York. Juniors are scheduled consecutive periods in the afternoon, 6-8 and seniors are scheduled periods, 1-4. If you are interested in a career in Cosmetology and need further information, please ask your guidance counselor or Ms. Faller in room F104.
