Sachem North High School

Naviance Student

The guidance department is pleased to introduce Naviance Student, a web-based service designed especially for students and parents.  Naviance Student is a comprehensive web site that both parents and students can use to help in making decisions about courses, colleges, and careers.  Naviance Student is linked with the Counselor's Office, a service that we use in our office to track and analyze data about college and career plans, so it provides up-to-date information that is specific to our school.

Naviance Student will allow parents and students to:

  • Research Colleges - Compare GPA, standardized test scores, and other statistics to actual historical data from our school for students who have applied and been admitted in the past.
  • Sign up for College Visits - Find out which colleges are visiting our school and sign up to attend those sessions.
  • Access Scholarship Information - Obtain information about available scholarships, including application information, deadlines, and requirements.

Naviance Student also lets us share information with you and your child about upcoming meetings and events, local scholarship opportunities, and other web resources for college and career information.  To visit our school's Naviance Student site, use your web browser to connect to:

You will be asked for your personal registration code.  You should have received this information in a recent mailing, however, if you have misplaced the letter or do not have this code, you may contact the guidance office at (631) 471-1400.

When you visit the site for the first time, please enter your personal registration code in the New User box and follow the on-screen instructions to create your own account.  Note that each code may be used only once.  Once you have your own account, you will sign in using the user name and password you chose during the registration process.  Therefore, please keep the user name and password in a safe location for future use.

We hope that you will find this resource helpful.  If you have any further questions about Naviance Student, please contact the guidance office.
