Deputy Superintendent Appointed

The Sachem Central School District is pleased to announce the appointment of Patricia Trombetta as its new Deputy Superintendent. Prior to the appointment, Ms. Trombetta served as the district’s assistant superintendent for student support and administration.

Ms. Trombetta has been with the Sachem Central School District since 2006 and has more than 15 years of administrative experience. She served as principal at Grundy Elementary School, Sagamore Middle School and Sachem High School North, as well as assistant principal at Sagamore Middle School. Her experience as an administrator at every grade level has led to her proficiency in collaboration, supervision and building relationships with students, staff and families. Ms. Trombetta started her educational career in the classroom as a teacher. She worked in a number of districts and implemented new programs into the curriculum.

Throughout her career, Ms. Trombetta has been affiliated with many professional organizations including the Association for Supervision of Curriculum Development and the National Association of Secondary School Principals. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan, her master’s degree from Dowling College and a school district administrator professional diploma from CW Post University.

“I take great pride in being the new Deputy Superintendent in the district where I went to school and chose to raise my family,” Ms. Trombetta said. “I am excited to work with everyone to move Sachem forward and continue to build on all the Sachem traditions. We are Sachem!”
