Sachem Board of Education Recognizes Incredible High School Student-Athlete Accomplishments

At the May 4 meeting of the Sachem Central School District Board of Education, the Board recognized several outstanding high school athletic teams for their tremendous accomplishments on the local, state and national levels.

The Board recognized the Sachem High School East Arrowettes who ranked first on Long Island in Small Varsity Jazz and Small Varsity Team Performance. Additionally, the Sachem High School East Cheerleading Team was recognized for its first-place finish this season in the Suffolk County Large Varsity Championship. Also honored was the Sachem High School North Arrowettes who won the National Dance Alliance National Championship in Small Varsity Dance. The Sachem High School North Varsity Cheerleading Team was also recognized for winning the Suffolk County Championship and finishing first in New York State in Small Varsity for Division 1.

Completing the recognitions were a plethora of athletes who earned All-County, All-Long Island, All-National and All-State recognition in their respective sports.
