  • Please be advised that students are not allowed to bring CD players, IPods, MP3 players, cameras, or heelys (wheels on sneakers) to school. All cell phones should be off during the day as not to disturb classes.
  • NO STUDENTS SHOULD BE IN THE HALLS BEFORE 8:00AM UNLESS YOU ARE HERE FOR A SCHEDULED CLASS OR EXTRA HELP.


  • The Renaissance 100% Homework Program will be starting this week! For each class that you have 100% HW in, fill out a raffle ticket, get it signed by your teacher, and drop it off in the guidance office. You can find the raffle tickets in an envelope hung in your classrooms. Winners will be announced each Tuesday. If you have any questions, see Ms. Pickford in Room 218.

 

  • The Renaissance Community Service Club is collecting used ink cartridges. Please bring in your used ink cartridges and put them in the box in the lobby.

  • Attention “Cause for Paws” members: Please bring in your newspapers to Miss Fallon ASAP.

 

  • The Student Government will be holding its annual Spring Bunny Drive starting April 13 th. Students are asked to bring in new stuffed animals, like bunnies and ducks, to be donated to the pediatric unit at Stony Brook hospital.

 

  • Mrs. Zayas will have extra help for her NYSSMA students on Tuesday after school in the Orchestra room. Bring your music and your CD’s.

 

  • Select Chorus will meet on Wednesday for 9 th period only – take the 3:20 bus or arrange for pickup at that time.

 

  • Computer Club will be meeting Thursday, April 23 rd in the library.

 

  • The signup list for the Books and Bagels program is in the library. We will be discussing Tim Green’s book, New Kid, on April 30 th after school in the library.
