  • Please be advised that students are not allowed to bring CD players, IPods, MP3 players, cameras, or heelys (wheels on sneakers) to school. All cell phones should be off during the day as not to disturb classes.

 

  • NO STUDENTS SHOULD BE IN THE HALLS BEFORE 8:00AM UNLESS YOU ARE HERE FOR A SCHEDULED CLASS OR EXTRA HELP.

  • 6th grade fun night is Friday, October 24th. Tickets are now on sale during lunch periods for $15.00.

  • The Renaissance 100% Homework Program will be starting this week! For each class that you have 100% HW in, fill out a raffle ticket, get it signed by your teacher, and drop it off in the guidance office. You can find the raffle tickets in an envelope hung in your classrooms. Winners will be announced each Tuesday starting next week. If you have any questions, see Ms. Pickford in Room 218.

 

  • The annual Safe Halloween Candy Contest is starting on Monday, Oct. 6 th. Bring in sealed bags of Halloween candy to your HR starting Monday until the day of Safe Halloween, Oct. 29th. There will be a winning HR for each grade and prizes will be awarded!

 

  • The first meeting for the Computer Club with Mrs. Bucher will be on Wednesday, October 22nd in the Library.

 

  • The next scheduled rehearsal for Select Chorus will be Wednesday, October 22nd.

 

  • Attention All Basketball Players: Any 6th, 7th or 8th grade boy who would like to attend a basketball clinic at Sachem East, see Mr. Harney in Room 153 for more information.

 

  • The next Literary Magazine Club meeting will be on Wednesday, October 22nd at 7:40AM. This is a morning meeting so any student involved in Drama, Select Chorus, Sports or other clubs can attend. Please see Mrs. Oliver for more information in Room 225.
