Sequoya will be collecting food for it's annual Thanksgiving Food Drive until Monday, November 23th!

 
   
 
Daily Announcements
  • Please be advised that students are not allowed to bring CD players, IPods, MP3 players, cameras, or heelys (wheels on sneakers) to school. All cell phones should be off during the day as not to disturb the classes.


  • NO STUDENTS SHOULD BE IN THE HALLS BEFORE 8:00 UNLESS YOU ARE HERE FOR A SCHEDULED CLASS OR EXTRA HELP.
  • LOCKERS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BE DECORATED. DECORATIONS WILL BE TAKEN DOWN.


  • Today is an "B" Day. Music Day #50.



  • Picture Re-take Day will be on Tuesday, December 1st during lunch periods in the Little Theater.  Any student who was absent on Picture Day in October needs to sit for the photographer for the Yearbook picture and Renaissance card.  Students must return the complete package on re-take day in order to be photographed.  Students will receive the same package but with a grey background.



  • Girls volleyball tryouts will begin on Wednesday 11/18 Thursday, 11/19 and Friday 11/20 from 2:30-4:30. Make sure you have a physical and bring your progress report to the tryouts.


  • MANDATORY Drama Club meeting on Monday 11/23 immediately after school in the auditorium. Anyone interested in cast or crew for this year’s production of The Wizard of Oz must attend this meeting. If you have any questions please see Ms. Fraccalvieri in room 227 or Mrs. Woolard in room 253.


  • Sequoya is having our annual Thanksgiving food drive. Bring yn your non-perishable food items to be donated to families in need.


  • Sewing Club will meet on Friday, 11/20 in the cafeteria.


  • Next Best Buddies meeting is Tuesday, 11/24 in the Little Theatre after school.


  • Next Literacy Magazine meeting will be on Thursday, 12/3. Please submit any poems, short stories or illustrations to Mrs. Oliver.


  • Ms. Wasdo would like to invite all interested in playing for the pit orchestra for “The Wizard of OZ” to come to the meeting Monday after school in the auditorium to receive information. Please see Ms. Wasdo if you cannot attend the meeting on Monday. All musicians are welcome.
