Dear Parents,

It is my pleasure to welcome you to Sequoya Middle School. Our school takes pride in providing a strong academic program as well as opportunities for your child to become involved and connected socially through our many extracurricular activities, clubs, and special school events. The middle school years are exciting and exhilarating for students. However, as the result of tremendous growth and change associated with adolescence, at times, our students face some difficulties. This is one reason why continuous communication among parents and staff is so vital – we need to build the strongest possible support system for our students. They should be encouraged to use every available opportunity, offered through home or school, to prepare themselves to be successful in achieving their goals. Our faculty, staff, and administrators are committed to teach, encourage, and challenge students to reach their full potential.
