December is Generosity Month at Samoset Middle School!

Throughout the month of December, different drives collecting food, coats and toys are conducted for Samoset families in need.  Ongoing fundraisers are carried out to supply funds for “Samoset Cares”, an organization that provides food, clothing and other items to Samoset families in need of assistance at the holidays and throughout the year.

For the second year in a row, we will be collecting clothing, household items and toys from community members during the week of November 30th – December 4th. 

Also, last December students and staff participated in Locks of Love, which supplies hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children suffering from long-term medical hair loss.  We will be participating in this community service project again this December.  Please click on the link for more information and to download the donation form.

Samoset counselors organize a Holiday Boutique each December where students can shop for friends and family members during their lunch period.  Proceeds from this fundraiser go directly to “Samoset Cares”.
