Stop and Shop is offering our school a wonderful opportunity.  Each time you use your registered Stop and Shop card, you will earn points for your school.  Each month these points determine your school's cash total which is automatically credited to our school.  Go online or to the store and register your card.  Choose Sachem North as your desired school  - it is that easy. 

Attention:  Classroom representatives can bring down the food for the Thanksgiving Food Drive during all periods.  Please bring it directly to the auditorium.  Thank you for your help and wonderful donations!

SENIORS THE YEARBOOK STAFF NEEDS YOUR PICTURES!!!

Attention Seniors: The senior Entertainment Book fundraiser has ended.  Please bring the money of the entertainment books to Mr. O'Brien in D203.  You will not be able to participate in senior events until your account is settled.

Drama Club:  There will be a mandatory meeting today, Friday, 11/20 to discuss the festival of lights and trees.

Robotics:  This week's meeting will be today, 11/20

Attention Seniors:  There will be a meeting 9th period on Monday, 11/23.  We need seniors to be a part of the Festival of Trees and Lights.  All seniors are welcome.  Officers must attend and bring a friend.  That's Monday, 11/23, 9th period in Room D203.

National Honor Society Members:  Anyone interested in joining the Festival of Trees and Lights Committee, please see Mrs. Conti in the Guidance Office ASAP.  Want to earn an easy service point??? Bring in 2 items for the food drive and get a point.  Place your items in a bag and make sure your name is on them.  Bring them into the guidance office to receive credit.

Attention Freshman:  We will have a meeting on Monday, November 30th and Monday, December 7th in Room D221 to create our tree for the Festival of Trees to be held on December 12th and 13th.

There will be an American Sign Language Club meeting on Tuesday, 11/24 in Room B230, 9th period.  We will be working on our "Festival of Lights" Fundraiser.

Living Environment extra help, 9th period is cancelled for today.

Model UN:  There is a meeting today in D218.  See you there.

Spanish Club Members:  There will be a meeting on Monday, 11/23, 9th period in Room F210 to decorate.  Be there!  Monies are due ASAP.

Attention students who are applying to the Foreign Language Honor Society:  Completed applications are due to your foreign language teacher no later than Wednesday, December 2nd.  Please make sure your application includes $20 cash.  No late applications will be accepted.

 

 

SPORTS NEWS

 

Girls' Gymnastics

Congratulations to senior gymnast, Stephanie Citro on making the Suffolk County State Team.  Stephanie placed 3rd in the county on bars, and will be representing Suffolk on bars and vault in the New York State Championship meet this coming February.  Awesome job, Steph!

Boys' Varsity Bowling

Boys' Varsity bowling tryouts will be TODAY, November 20th.  We will meet outside the gymnasium at 2:40.

 

Baseball

Anyone interested in playing baseball in the spring that is not involved in a winter sport, there will be a meeting on Tuesday, 11/24 in the fallout shelter.  Any questions, see Mr. Comstock.
